2008 FOAL CROP WILL BE ARRIVING SOON!
We have two mares in foal for 2008. Because of our serious health developments this year, we have decided to end our horse breeding program and eliminate our broodmare band. This may be your last chance to purchase a horse from us with these outstanding bloodlines. We have been breeding horses over 20 years with special emphasis on ability, intelligence and disposition. If you are looking for a special mare that will out produce herself every year, please contact me for more information. At this time, we have not made the decision to disperse our stallions, however, offers will be considered. Until such decision is made, the stallions will continue to stand at stud here at Leunen Farms. Our broodmares will be offered for sale, in foal, with foal at her side, and possibly bred back. This will be a total dispersal of the broodmares. Thank you for your business and support over the past years. This has been a very difficult decision to make, but one we must all face at some point in our lives. We wish you continued success with the horses you have purchased from us and hope to continue to hear of your accomplishments!

2005 DUN FILLY
This was our third foal crop out of our stallion HOLLYWOOD GUMBY and we are very proud of the quality and uniformity of the foals he has produced.
2005 APHA breeding stock dun filly (COMING TWO YEARS OLD) out of LF Hollywood Dunny and by Hollywood Gumby. Red dorsal stripe and loud zebra stripes on legs. This filly is very correct and has a great presence. Double bred LEO SAN/HOLLYWOOD GOLD. We held this beautiful filly back as a broodmare replacement, but have taken another filly in on trade, so this outstanding filly is now offered, for sale. Stunning looker-Quiet & willing! She will be a great asset in your broodmare band or in the arena. Don't let this filly get away!!!
LIMITED NUMBER OF TWO AND THREE YEAR OLDS AVAILABLE
These young horses have received 4-Way vaccination and West Nile. They have been wormed regularly. They are people friendly and halter broke, SOME MAY BE STARTED UNDER SADDLE. We have started trailer loading and work over obstacles. These young horses may be lunging at the time of sale. The colts will have been gelded. All horses are sold with permanent registration papers.

Choose from our 2006 foals: A black AQHA filly out of LF Bourbon Streke and sired by Hollywood Gumby! A buckskin/dun breeding stock APHA filly out of LF Its Showtime and sired by Hollywood Gumby! A flashy sorrel APHA colt out of Hello Precious and sired by AQHA stallion Buggers Little Tiger! I will be posting some recent photos as soon as the foals are brought up out of winter pasture. They have grown and filled out - YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED! We have four 2007 foals available also.

This is a buckskin, dun APHA stud colt. Overo paint markings. Halter quality colt out of LF Hollywood Dunny and sired by our AQHA stallion, Hollywood Gumby. This colt was foaled March 15, 2006. Perfectly marked on both sides. Correct, no blemishes. A very flashy boy! This colt has super potential for a 4-Her or beginner. He is quiet, willing and a stunning looker. This won't be a huge colt-I expect him to mature around 14.2, perfect size for a youth to handle. Sorry! This pretty boy has been sold and is now residing in IA and is going to be a young girl's 4-H project. BREAKING NEWS! This colt took Reserve Champion Gelding at Halter in Iowa 4-H state level competition against seasoned breed winners! Congratulations!!!
2005 AQHA dun colt out of LF Hollywood Starlet and by Hollywood Gumby. This colt is a definite silver grulla and is shedding to a light slate color. Here is the color that everyone is looking for! Extreme primitive markings include facial cob webbing, counter shading and zebra stripes on all legs. Contact us for current photos - this one will go fast! This colt is stallion potential. Sorry! This colt is sold. He will be starting cutting horse training in Alabama shortly.
2005 AQHA dun colt out of Laceys Echo and by Hollywood Gumby. This colt is shedding again and changing color. This colt is possibly a smutty buckskin or olive grulla. Lots of dun factor. This colt will mature over 15 hands. Sorry, this one is sold. He has been transported to Indiana where he will be standing at stud in 2008!

2004 Colt by Hollywood Gumby out of LF Hollywood Dunny
Double bred Hollywood Gold! This colt is built like a halter horse and bred to be a cow horse. Beautiful light dun color. He should be able to do it all! Will mature to 14.2. APHA breeding stock and is eligible for IBHA buckskin registry too! Lots of dun factor here and just a tiny star and patch of white on his nose. You won't find many weanlings that look this good. Sorry, if you missed this one, he has a new home in IA. BREAKING NEWS! This colt is doing well under saddle and competing in amateur reining competitions.
2004 Colt by Hollywood Gumby out of Laceys Echo
Tall and leggy and the right color too. This AQHA colt is dark buckskin now and will lighten with age. He just keeps changing color so we will get some new photos up just as soon as this colt sheds out. Four low, white socks and wide blaze makes him a real attention getter. Nice hip and long neck. Hollywood Gold, Leo San, Bert Star breeding. Ropers, take a look at this one! This colt will mature 15+h and 1000lbs. and judging from his conformation, should have some speed in him. A real people horse-this guy would be easy to spoil-He is the cream of the crop! This boy is headed to California! Sorry you missed this one!

Talk about fancy! This AQHA colt is refined with a beautiful head. This colt will mature at 15h and 1000lbs. The color is silver grulla and just keeps changing. Dun factor, line back, short socks and a narrow blaze put just the right amount of chrome on this one. Double bred Leo San and Hollywood Gold. Pretty enough for the show ring and bred to work. Nice all around horse. This boy is headed to a new home in California!
